The #1 most common question I get right now (besid The #1 most common question I get right now (besides when is my due date 🤰🏻) is how Iong will I continue to “work” ? I put work in quotes because tbh what I do does not always feel like work, per se. Yeaa it takes a ton of energy to hold a yoga class or Breathwork session for a room full of people or read cards back to back for hours buttttt people don’t realise that these practices give me energy too 🌀🔄💫 There is something quite magical about “working” in wellness cause there is such an exchange of energy. Positively ⚡️ Even though you may give a lot to others it can be incredibly energising too. It’s crazy how time flies when you love what you do & you stay true to a vision… 🙏🏻👁️ This shoot back in April was very special. @juliaivashkina flawlessly captured and brought to life the ideas - and, in slide 2 - also photographed a premonition 🤰🏻🐣. We had a heart to heart talk that day that will always stay with me. Do not dismiss any conversation, encounter, event as coincidence or insignificant. Back here, back on the mat. I haven’t really “left” tho. If there’s one thing I tried to stick with - even during the hottest and laziest days in Jamaica - was my practice. Even if it felt sometimes utterly gruelling 😩during the 1st trimester… ugh. But I think that’s also what got me through it too. Every day I THANK my body and my yoga practice for getting me where I am; making me feel actually *good* in this expanding body/belly .. and from keeping me from going a little nuts. You really do need to have a toolbox to help you thru life and yoga is like my Swiss Army knife. 🧰 Anyway; if you’d like to practice with me (pregnant ladies very welcome too!) there are many @wearehumblewarriors yoga classes and Breathwork sessions coming up.
